loch
fishing in scotland |
Loch fishing in Perthshire truly is loch fishing paradise. Highland
Perthshire benefits from its many flat waters (mostly!) for sensational
mixed loch fishing, some massive lochs like Rannoch, Tummel, Ericht
and Tay, but also smaller, delightful hill and moor lochs such as
Laidon and Eigheach, and of course many other smaller lochs and
reservoirs. A myriad of lochs full of wild brown trout which have
made this part of Scotland a mecca for fishermen. Go as you please
– or enjoy guided visits with our expert ghillie Ian who knows
the lochs in this wonderful area like the back of his hand. Again
we arrange all – excellent safe and well maintained boats,
access and permits, ghillie, rods and tackle, lunch, transport if
necessary – and great hospitality.
Loch Rannoch
Catch - trout, pike, perch, char, ferox- trout. Odd salmon.
Our key destination, on which we have many boats, rights and access
the whole length of this superb 11 mile loch. A natural and very
beautiful loch, overlooked by famous Schiehallion, the home of charr,
ferox trout (for which it is most famous), brown trout and mighty
pike. Miles of easily accessible bank fishing for brown trout using
any legal method. Superb boat fishing especially at the shallower
western end.
